Healing HeartFire exists because I am following my spiritual path. Service to my community and beyond as an open channel of healing energy is my way. If you have experienced this kind of contact, please pass along that knowledge and comfort to those you meet in your daily travels.

Initially based on the Usui school of Reiki, this is a hands-on, clothes-on, nearly silent, non-manipulative, one-on-one contact energy transfer method. The energy assists the body in healing. It enhances the body's ability to respond to standard medical practice. 

What is Reiki?The Japanese word (pronounced ray – key) means Universal Life Force Energy.

Reiki is easy to learn. Reiki is a non-intrusive and subtle treatment in which the practitioner places their hands gently on (or hovers above) the energy centers of the body (the recipient is fully clothed). You really don’t have to touch the client for a Reiki treatment.

The Reiki practitioner transfers Source energy — Universal Life Force Energy - to the recipient. This energy is used by the body to heal itself and replenish energy stores. The recipient may experience deep relaxation and peaceful well-being. They might even feel “high on spiritual energy.”

Reiki is gentle — Reiki can be used without fear of any side-effects or overdose. Reiki energy seems to know what to do without any effort from the Reiki practitioner. There are no substances applied to the body, so it can be used with confidence alongside conventional medication to enhance the possibility of recovery.

Anyone can give and receive Reiki — Reiki acts in a complementary way and can greatly enhance the positive effects of other therapies such as Chemotherapy (pain management and detoxification are common effects), Homeopathy, Acupuncture.
